Mr. Toborowsky is an experienced history teacher whose passion is the impact of Jews on American History. He has taught a four-part course on the subject at CRJ and at his home synagogue in Louisville, KY. He will present the first lecture in his series discussing the Sephardic immigration.

Mr. Toborowsky will cover such topics as:

• Where the Sephardic Jews came from and why
• Their impact on the discovery of America
• Was Columbus Jewish?
• Colonial Jews and their influence on the Puritans
• How did the Hebrew bible influence the Puritans?
• Jewish influence on the Founding Fathers
• How did Hebrew come to be taught at Yale?
• Other things your American History teacher never taught you
